Earth Science is a course designed to provide students with a better understanding of the earth and the phenomena around it. The Earth Science Regents examination is divided into four sections: multiple-choice questions, multiple choice and constructed response questions, constructed response questions, and a laboratory performance exam. The Earth Science Regents Review class provides students with accurate training using practice Earth Science exams and labs, so that they are fully prepared for the Regents. Additional skills as mathematical analysis and scientific inquiry are taught to especially prepare students for the lab section of the Earth Science Regents. This course covers the following topics: Composition of the Earth; Mapping; Rocks and Minerals; Weathering, Erosion, Deposition, and Landforms; Earthquakes and Plate Tectonics; Earth History; Meteorology and Climate; and Astronomy.
