AP European History

AP European History studies the cultural, economic, political, and social developments that have shaped Europe from c. 1450 to the present day. Students analyze historical evidence and write essays expressing historical arguments. Our AP European History Review will help prepare students for the AP exam that covers this vast course material and challenging skills.

An experienced, certified AP European History teacher will lead students in reviewing the major events, themes, and turning points covered in the course’s nine units. The review will also refresh students’ skills in historical analysis, evaluation of primary and secondary sources, analyzing claims and evidence, and writing to defend a thesis.

Students will also have ample opportunity to practice the multiple-choice, short-answer, and free-response questions that comprise the AP European History Exam.
