Global History

Our Global History Review leads students through all of the concepts, skills, and practice questions needed to succeed on the latest version of the Global History Regents Exam. There have been many changes to this course and exam format in recent years. An experienced, fully licensed Global History teacher will guide students through newly organized course content and question formats.

Students will review the most significant course content from the Global History and Geography course, with a special emphasis on the 10th grade content that appears on the state exam. This content spans from 1750 to present day, with units on the Enlightenment, revolutions, nationalism, the industrial revolution, imperialism, eras of global conflict, decolonization, modernization, globalization, and human rights.

Students will also review strategies for tackling multiple-choice questions, short-answer constructed response questions (CRQs), and the enduring issues essay question.
