Long Island Regents Prep was founded in 2009 by Michael Graziosi, Brad Seidman, and Dennis Urban, full-time social studies teachers in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District. After preparing thousands of our own students for NY State Regents Exams and AP Exams, we realized that students sometimes needed Regents review and AP review beyond what was offered in the classroom. That’s when we created our one-day review courses at Farmingdale State College to help students pass the Regents and AP exams. In each of our review courses, students learn the major course topics, practice test questions, and acquire test-taking strategies and tips from experienced, New York State-certified teachers. Our instructors prepare AP and Regents review material and provide practice problems for students to complete during the course of our 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM weekend sessions.
In 2014 we launched our new SAT review program, a one-day SAT Crash Course that includes an original review book created by a longtime, accomplished SAT tutor, Joshua Fialkow. All instructors in our SAT prep program are both experienced SAT tutors and NYS-certified teachers. Next, in 2017, we began offering ACT review classes, which also include an original ACT review book created by Josh.
Since 2009, we have served more than 7,000 students from Suffolk County, Nassau County, and New York City, and each year we continue to grow. Our success is largely due to word-of-mouth recommendations and the positive feedback we receive each year. As NYS-certified teachers, we aim not only to help students pass the Regents, but to ensure they excel on their Regents, AP, SAT, and ACT exams. In addition, we are proud members of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce and the local business and education communities, and every year we donate thousands of dollars in free classes to local schools and organizations.

Michael is in charge of Marketing, Customer Relations, and Student Registration at Long Island Regents Prep. He has taught social studies in the Bellmore-Merrick school district since 2005. He received his B.A. in history from Villanova University and his M.S. in secondary education from Hofstra University. Michael is the author of AP Macroeconomics Review, available on Amazon.
Brad is in charge of Personnel, Hiring, and Facilities at Long Island Regents Prep. He has taught social studies and has served as administrator for the Senior Experience Program in the Bellmore-Merrick school district since 2004. He received his B.A. in history and M.A. in social studies education from Hofstra University, and a post-graduate certificate in educational administration from Stony Brook University.
Dennis is in charge of Digital Marketing, Finance, Curriculum, and New Business Development at Long Island Regents Prep. He has taught high school social studies in the Bellmore-Merrick school district since 2003, and he teaches graduate education courses at Touro College. He received his B.A. in history from Salisbury University, and his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in social studies education from Columbia University. Dennis is the author of AP U.S. History Review, and he was named 2018 New York History Teacher of the Year.
Joshua Fialkow has taught social studies and SAT review classes since 2006, tutors students in trigonometry, chemistry, social studies, ACTs, and SAT Math and English, and is a full-time social studies teacher in New York City. His students average a 300 point increase on their SATs! Josh received his B.A. in history from Yale University and his M.A. in social studies education from Columbia University. Using his test prep expertise and experience, Josh developed all original materials for the Long Island SAT and ACT Review Courses.
